    Hi All
just a quick post from me... about to go out to the market with J - a beautoful day for walking here! I am so loving walking atm - the MB makes it great with both of them so i have been walking N to and from creche and any trips locally and J loves the buga now we have moved to the upright seat (he didnt like the basinette -so diff to N). so i have been doing lots of walking this week - 'official' walks around the lake and also for errands/coffees etc. it is great - i figure better to be a little active and get out in the fresh air for both of us!
Just had a ab time with J - its nice and warm so we had some nappy free timeon my bed just kicking around naked - he was loving it.
The other good news is that i have an appt at the osteo for him next thu... i am more relaxed about his head now and he is turning it a lot more.. but good to get him seen...
N is great - DH and I managed to go out for an early dinner last night before i had a meeting at 7 and mum looked after N for us (i took J). Apparently he had a great time bossing her around!! he managed to get 6 books read to him in bed LOL!!! he was complaining before i left but was great once i was gone (as usual!).
I just realised that with our coast trip and NZ and creche shut down, N will have 5 weeks at home with me over dec/jan - YAY!!! it willbe fun. we have so many fun little trips planned over summer - i cant wait!
Anyway, think I will head off now - hope you are all well.
    xxx

Mamapan - love the new name BTW. When is your coast trip, it was this month wasn't it? It is in the diary at home, but I keep forgetting to check it. A bit too warm for walking here today unfortunately.

Clare - wow, you are having so much fun over there!!! Keep up the good shopping action!

MD - will have to check out the cooshee. We have been using the bebepod on a chair, but I really need to get something we can strap down.

Kate - well done on getting to over 2 before needing ab's!! Hope she perks up soon.

Ginge - hope it doesn't rain for the big party on the weekend!

DH put K in the car yesterday at childcare and she was playing with the keys - wouldn't give them to her so walked around to the drivers side and was going to get them when he hopped in. But she locked the car on him!!! He had a few moments of panic before he remembered his window was still open so he could get in, but I suppose it was just a lucky reminder to always leave a door open (or don't let her play with the keys in the first place.....)

Kate, I got it at a big baby store here called Baby Bunting. The brand is 'Babysmart' and it's called a Cooshee Hybak. I think I've seen them on ebay in the past...Glad you got the ear infection identified! They can sneak up... I"m sure she'll be back to her usual delightful self soon.

MP - all your walking sounds lovely, Canb is so nice at this time of year! Let us know what you think of the osteo, won't you.

Cally! The cooshee is not strapable but doesn't move about. The key story is kinda funny and kinda not...I'm sure many ppl have locked-out stories of some sort! Not funny on a hot day though.

Trill, enjoy the big wedding! It will be a blast and I'm sure they will love the crossstich masterpiece!!!

AFM - gonna make the IgglePiggle boat tonight...lucky we bought a dryer this week and have a perfect box for it! LOL

I feel like some horrible green eyed monster! I am not sure if I am more jealous of Katies big belly and all the excitement that comes with it, Kates 15Kgs (WTG!!!), or Clare living it up in Italy!

Cally, that must have been a scary moment for your DH, but a classic toddler thing to do lol. I left W playing in the car with the keys while I took the groceries in a while ago and the little toad put them in the ignition and started the car up. Had a minor heart attack when I came out, he was very proud of himself though. So no playing with keys for him now.

MD, we tried a booster, then cushions, then the booster again but it was a source of drama so now we just tell W to kneel on his knees on the chair lol. He seems to prefer it.

Ginger, bummer about the car breakdown. Lucky you weren't too far from home. I have never ventured out less than fully dressed for that exact reason lol

Nothing much happenong here. William slept though 3 nights in a row and is currently obsessed with bugs and the colour orange lol. We now own a worm farm. Yuck.

Sorry to everyone I have missed, apparently the thing that has suffered the most having a second bub is my computer time lol

ETA Amelia has been rolling from her tummy to her back, but she can only do it if her arms are placed under her (like a press-up). Does that count as rolling? Or is it when they can do it any time?

    hi girls!

deary deary me...this reply has just taken...42 minutes to open LOL! needless to say DHs mums internet is beyond slow....arrghhhh!

have had no hope of reading too far back so apologise if i have missed all the exciting bits lol!

MamaP: sounds like you are really hitting a groove with your little men. WTG!!! did you end up making it to the markets?

Oz: dancing?! awesome! did little baking bubba also enjoy the dancing?!

Arte: no need to be jealous of me ATM...IL dramas galore...eeepp!

Cally: oooh similar thing happened to friends of ours with the car keys! but the little girl was a little older so they were able to explain to her how to reopen the car...still can happen soo fast.

MD: well, if it were me, i prolly woulda gone the LIME green...depends on the pink though...i like electric colours LOL!

Kate: so glad that you have an answer for the grizzly monsterness! it will clear really quickly...esp as this is her first ABs. leila was like that when she had her first a few months ago...responded really quickly.

AFM: well as i briefly mentioned to arte, we are having IL iss-ewes (thanks for that one MD!). DHs mum is totally bonkers and so is his brother. they are manic in everything. and for the most part i can cope, but there comes a time when i crack it and when a taurean cracks it it tends to be ginormous. well, i cracked it mega LOL! DH had to drive me up a 1000mtr mountain to let me cool off LOL! basically, we went grocery shopping and she tells us to buy everything we want as she knows we have different tastes (she is vege). so anyway, for some reason she decides to come. EVERYTHING i pick up, she hates and goes on and on about it until i put it back. this continues all the way through until i pick up some tea and off she goes again. anyway, so i decided to put it back and asked her (rather abruptly) if she would like to just take over and decide for us....well, obviously after a whole day of her criticisms, my retaliation made me the worst DIL in the world. and then she sulked for approx 5 hours (gotta give the woman kudos for stamina LOL!). in the end (after she got the neighbours to chime in on the tut tuts of my parenting style), i rather publicly, CRACKED it. with leila under my arm i stormed up the village street (yep, a one street village at lunch time no less LOL!) and just yelled obscenities and told everyone to eff off LOL! oh dear. i am like a mega calm person what happened?!! DH had to rescue me and off we went up the mountain for a few hours...

ok, that raged LOL! trust me, there are so many vents but i wont bore you with them all!

Clare - your whole trip sounds like a movie... i am picturing a small village movbie like Chocolat - the dramas included!!! good that Dh at least understands where you are coming from... are you staying with the ILs for much longer??? at least when you finish you get to fly a LONG flight away from them... breathe my dear!
Yep I made it to the market - had sucha nice time picking out yummy fruits for a fruit salad and having coffee - and then a walk back.. (it isnt v far LOL). it was beautoful and warm. today is aniother story - it is about 10 degrees and raining.
I do feel like i am getting intoa groove as a fam of 4 and i LOVE it.
Arte - I dont know what is 'official' rolling.. but wow! J is nowhere near doing anything like that. you do breed advanced kids...
Oz - soinds like so much fun yesterday. you can eat all the baked good now you have done so much dancing.
is it nearly time fo ryou to start eating curry???
hipe sherie is enjoying the wedding...

    My goodness, where is everyone??

I hope Oz is off squeezing out a baby!

Clare, LMAO! I am not so jealous of your trip now, I wasn't factoring in the ILs. At least you get to leave your screaming rampage in another country, not like it was your street at home and you had to see them every day.

PAP, life as a family of four is extra fun I think

Well, I finally got some strawberry plants in the garden yesterday and then what happens? Snow!! It has been snowing for the last 7 hours. DH is hoping for a snow day tomorrow but I am guessing we will just get messy slush.

    Hi girls!

MamaP: totally agree babe! i reckon we have the bestest eva baby group! you girls are also my first port of call for most things LOL! (no pressure :wink

Arte: i reckon that is rolling...wow!
and so true re the ILs...getting on the plane home will be a relief in many ways.

Oz: ha ha ha! everytime you 'disappear' we will be wondering...so excited for you!

WHERE IS EVERYONE?! it has been mega quiet the last week...coooeeeeee....no one is allowed to have a life outside of BB LOL!

AFM: well, things with the ILs have somewhat calmed down. MIL has been to a 2 day dance symposium thingy and BIL, well, who knows, has been around and not here, so all good lol.
had a great party last night. we set up the fire place and threw a heap of meat on the fire and cooked up a storm. the kids ran around until 1am having a blast. full moon so no doubt that helped cause the excitement.
annoying news is that DH LOST his wedding ring. not happy jan. and now in a ponder as to what to do. i dont really fancy the idea of him getting a new one as we had these rings made up for us and dont want them to be different. but the thought of getting new ones is also not spectacular. i dont know. sooooooo annoyed, but trying really hard to not show DH as he is pretty devastated.
Leila is talking up a storm lately too. soo cute to hear her speak italian! bummer is that she has learnt how to open her kinderkot, so we get this cheeky monkey at our bedroom door smiling like the chesire cat LOL!

Clare glad things with the inlaws calmed down, how annoying. I would love to hear L talking in Italian.

Arte your pics of W in the snow are soooo cool. Miss A is just adorable too. Did DH get his snow day?

MD how did you go with the Iggle Piggle boat lol?

Seems like everyone must have had a busy weekend. I hope G's party went well.

AFM got a nice bug shiny new fridge yesterday, they delivered it this morning. Just need DH to move it so I can start loading it up. I am hoping this bub comes this week. Mum arrives on the weekend and it would be nice to have a few days together as a family before she is here. L has kindy tomorrow so I am off to have morning tea with my BIL, poor man is so bored lol.
