Oh and speaking of (not) fatties. When I saw the surgeon, he had to fill out the surgery consent form and asked how much I weighed - I told him (3 figures) and he looked stunned and said really? He said he'd just refused a flap recon for a woman who weighed about 15 kg less than me - but had never blinked an eyelid with me (pretty remarkable since this man has now seen and touched my naked upper body on at least 7 or 8 different occasions so ya think he would've noticed I'm a bit FAT)??! I obviously carry it well PMSL .
