Clare, how are the pets today? My cat was hit by a car and the first day we went to see her she was blind and could only walk in circles and was making a feral growling sound. I bawled my eyes out. But she did improve. For about a month we did cat physio making her walk in circles the opposite direction and her sight came back. For about a year if she got stressed she would start with the circles again (the first bird she caught was a disaster - she let it go inside and then ran in circles with the excitement of it all lol). But now she is perfectly fine, you wouldn't even guess. We also had a dog with the cruciate ligament problem. She was 10 when it happened, had the op and was still o.k when she ran away at 14. Don't stress too much about the hips - it is a problem but we have had a large three legged dog and it didn't bother her too much. You can also take your time to decide - our dog didn't get the op for about 3 months because mum wasn't sure if it was worth it due to her age. The damage is done and won't get any worse if you wait and it doesn't seem to hurt because they know not to put weight on it. She always limped at a run. Is Stella a lab? It is quite a common thing for labbies.
MD, Tantrums suck. William woke up and launched straight into an hour long one this morning. Grrrr. How did H's week at school go? I am with you on needing any sort of fun. I can't remember the last time I had a good laugh.
Amelia is down to the dregs of clothing, she is in size 0 now but I don't have enough of it so I have to face a trip to the shops. The last time I went was Boxing Day, so now there is a huge list of stuff we need so that is my plan for tomorrow. I hate it. The trip is about 1 1/4hours and she only sleeps for about 45 minutes so the last half hour is spent with her grizzling.
