Yeh, you can have all the "secure cupboards" and child safety locks in the world, but it all relies on humans to do it EVERY time, and you can guarantee, the one time you forget/are too tired/get distracted, is the time your child will decide "this looks interesting!" or in Evie's case "i wanna be like mummy!".

i hope Chino is back to his normal self soon.

I had an "awful mummy" morning today, feeling guilty about bilby being in childcare. i know it's good for her, and she gets there, what i can't provide her with (space, outdoor playing areas, chickens running around, clear indoor playing areas, kids to play with, play equipment, trained early childhood workers) but god i still get the guilts so bad. everything i can't give her in a tiny unit with no outdoor play area.
