this is what i TRIED to post last night, site wouldn't let me, so i copied and saved it to try again today, well tonight now, nearly midnight! (where does the time go?)

three posts - and you have three children - seems fair enough Ann! LOL.

great to hear from you again. Sorry to hear you are going thru PND, that's a cow of a thing. Great that the bf-ing is still going well, i can only imagine how exhausting that would be to do with twins, i was exhausted just with one! Do you feed them both at the same time, or separately? If that's too personal, forget i said anything, i just tried to imagine "how would i physically feed twins?". Cos i used both hands to hold bilby to feed her. Or would you have to do football hold and use a pillow on each side of you?

bilby is still requesting breastfeeds, but now (86cm tall, well it's pretty short for her age, but you know) she sits on me, straddles my hips. I think childcare are busting a gut to say "when will she stop?" but they don't dare say a word. Their version of breastmilk, is that it stops at six months, so we've always been on their scale of "strange". (started childcare there at 20 months).

Bilby and Ella sound alike - apart from the talking bit - about wanting to assert themselves, not do what they are asked etc, Misses Independence. Do you think the lying is part of getting attention (no longer the only child) or is that usual developmental stuff for her age group? bilby LOOKS so cheeky, i'm sure she would be telling whoppers, if only she could talk! (well in english, not toddler babble that no-one understands, and every 2nd word is baby, or daddy).

I remember in the 45 degrees heatwaves, when bilby had THREE big rolls of fat on each thigh, i could NEVER get those creases dry! so i cheated, and used Gaia baby powder (cornstarch) to MAKE them dry LOL. All that roundness is great insurance, for if illness strikes. (apparently bubs lose weight v.fast, when ill.)

Congrats on getting twins to sleep thru the night, esp at only five months old, thats great.

Three under three, wowee woman, i think you are doing GREAT.

WONDERFUL TO SEE YOU BACK HERE ANN! (but totally understandable, that it's all been too much, up til now).

bilby got to spend some time with some oldies today. i went to a community centre sewing class (they have a creche!!!) and afterwards, there was a community lunch in a hall. so bilby and i went along, it was full of retirees from what i could see. we sat at a table with three elderly people, bilby acted really timid, clung to my legs, behind my chair, REFUSED to sit on a chair by herself etc. but gradually she warmed to them, and they to her, and before long, she was playing peekaboo and poking out her tongue. She NEVER gets the opportunity to be with any elderly people, so i was pleased this opportunity presented itself. i was a bit bored, but i think i will make myself go to this fortnightly lunch thing, just so bilby can have exposure to elderly people. broaden her experiences.

Vicky, if you're reading, thinking of you!
