Gigi I know what you mean about money stresses - we are using the rule friends per age. So Jake is 3 this year so he can have 3 friends to a little party for him. All I am doing is some cut up fruit and vege sticks and making some fairy bread. There will be no party bags bcos really they are only 3, but I am thinking maybe a cupcake and a balloon to take home. As for games, well the sandpit does a great job if we do it here, otherwise will just go to a local park and they can amuse themsleves and we can do singing and dancing.
