About 7 months PP - AF issues - anyone else?

Yet another "what's my body doing" question!
DD3 is just about 7 months old, and for the past 8 weeks or so, I've had AFish bleeding every 2-3 weeks. A little lighter than usual, but roughly the same as AF. Normally, I go 6 weeks between periods. I liked that better! DD is sleeping through some nights, and is nursing 4-6 times a day, so should I just assume that things are adjusting again to the change in breastfeeding, or should I talk to my GP? Or, should I take a preg test?
Has this happened to anyone else? I know that bodies can do all kinds of weird things in the post-partum, and so I haven't been overly stressed about it, and figure it will sort itself out, but occasionally I wonder if I'm being foolish, and really I should see someone about it. What do you think?

I remember a bit of "spotting" once Ruby hit this age, but I didn't get my AF for real till I totally weaned her at 18 months, so everyone's body is different.
I would say that it's a probably your body adjusting, but go talk to a GP if it's bothering you, that way your mind will be at rest about it.

Thanks Nickel. It is probably just another hormonal adjustment, but you know what the mind can do when you start wondering... I have had AF somewhat regularly since about 5 1/2 weeks pp. Not fair, is it.

How frustrating Cricket! If it is playing on your mind it might be worth going to your Dr just to have your mind put at ease? I'm sure it is just one of those things your body does after a baby, but it can't hurt to ask a professional.

I finally got my first AF after a 16 month break, NOT FAIR!
