Bleeding starting 9 weeks postpartum :(

I thought I just got my period but I really doubt it now. Bleeding started 3 days ago, light and mucusy (lovely), on and off these past couple of days, not what my periods are like... anyone had this or know what it is?

MY DD was fully BF and i got my period at 9wks and thats how it started. Sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear but it could be AF returning or it could be some left over lochia. How long ago did you stop bleeding post birth?

sorry I'm not up with the terminology, what's DD BF AF?
it stopped 3 weeks after birth

DD- Dear Daughter
AF- Aunt Flo (period)
BF- Breast Fed

I too had stopped bleeding after birth by about 3wks. If you are not in pain and its not accompanied by a smell then i wouldnt worry too much but if it does smell and you are in discomfort might be worth getting checked for an infection. Hopefully its not that and its all normal but better to be safe than sorry.

the more I think about it the more it makes sense to be AF. It was silly of me to think that the first time I'd get AF it would be like a normal one.
