Hair Falling Out

Has anybody's hair fallen out after their baby? I didn't notice it was thicker when I was pregnant. I'm really malting, lol!

When DD was about 4 months old both of us started losing hair!! Mine also didn't fall out much whilst pregnant but I went through about 3-4 months of greater than normal hair loss. I was worried at first but found that a lot of other people had the same experience so it's not unusual.

Apparently its one of the joys of having a baby, you don't 'malt' as much when pg, so after youve had baby then you get rid of all the hair that normally wouldve come out! (hope that made sense!)
It can be scary seeing all that hair, but I think its normal

Mine fell out so badly I almost had bald patches. It's only just stopped now... 10 months down the track! I hate using this product (I have moral issues with it), but try Pantene, the one to stop hair fall. It was the only think that worked, otherwise I think I'd be bald!

Mine has just started to fall out - bub is nearly 4 months old. My hairdresser said my hair was wonderful condition during pregnancy - wait til she sees it now!

I too have noticed my hair is falling out more than it has before. Apparently the hair needs extra protein, ask your hairdresser.

Yep, I've lost heaps of hair after each bub. I'm still losing heaps atm, my hairbrush fills up constantly and when I dry my hair I leave a big pile of hair behind lol!

Yep, totally normal. Often people blame bfing, but it is just one of those post-natal things!

I did get a ton of extra hair whilst preg & that extra hair fell out after 2mths of having bub !! And didn't really stop malting for quite sometime

Thanks so much girls for your responses! I went to hairdressers yesterday to get some foils/trim and I've got some lovely hair products from Wella, they are awesome. But yes, I'll just have to continue vacuuming the bathroom floor every day for a while!! HAHA
