    Question Infection? TMI

The past week I have been getting pains in my pelvic area. I also still have discharge and it is a bit smelly. It went to a yellowy colour but then yesterday I ahd probably about a teaspoons worth of dark red blood. I went to the Dr on Monday though and he has given me some cream for the 'smell' which I have to "insert" every night for 7 nights. I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them, how long it took to go away and what it actually is that is 'going on' down there?!?

In my rush to get to the chemist after seeing the Dr I forgot to ask him those questions!

    TIA

    Hi Daniellec
Does it hurt when you pee?
Do you have any pain in your lower back?
    Do you have a temp?
If so it could be a UTI. Drink lots of water, at least 3 litres a day. This will help to flush out any bugs in your bladdre/kidney. If the discharge does not start to improve in another 3-4 days you should go back to the doctor

It doesn't hurt when I pee, don't have lower back pain and no temp!!

I just went to the toilet and my discharge has now turned into how my 'show' started... so like a clear mucous that is tinged a bit pink and has blood streaks through it!

    Is it itchy down there?
    This could be thrush.
If your discharge is now clear it sounds like the problem may be starting to clear up. Keep going with the cream (what was it called). And keep up the water intake.

The cream I was using is called Dalacin V Cream. I stopped using it after 3 nights though as Oscar's poo became yucky which the Dr said it could and if it did to stop using it. The smell has gone but I still gets pains in my pelvic area. They aren't painful but still are uncomfortable.
