    Ouch!

Yesterday I decided to be brave and go for a walk with my DS. I was feeling great and the episiotomy I had a few weeks ago seems to have nearly healed. The walk was great and I didn't walk to fast or anything.

TODAY.... it feels like I have had another baby... everything down there seems to feel stretched again and quite uncomfortable. Has anyone else had this feeling after going so well??

I def wont be walking that far again for a little while!

    Hi Danielle

I had a 2nd degree tear after my labour (very similar to an epi)..I felt I recovered really quick in the first week or so, then it was later on in the coming weeks that I actually felt almost more uncomfy (different to the original feeling tho). I guess that's because the sutures have gone and the tissue is very fragile and trying to heal by itself (Does that make sense?!).

    Hey Danielle

you need to take it slow for a few weeks after your baby, and focus on working those pelvic floors. Even tho a walk is...just a walk...it still places a lot of strain on our abdominal, lower back and pelvic floor muscles.

hope its feeling a bit better
