Hi Sarah,
I got this too... when i was pg i barely could raise a sweat (previously quite a sweat person) post pg it came back with a vengeance!'
Congrats on Juliette, she is gorgeous!
At the moment our house gets down to less than 10deg overnight, but I am sweating like crazy in bed. I have the same quilt on that I've always had & am not overdressed (cotton 3/4 top & pants) when I'm sleeping. Before bed I'm cool but I wake up sweating all over. Is this a post prgnancy & maybe breastfeeding thing??

Yep, BF thing for sure! I am a hot sleeper usually, but when BFing I really take the cake. In fact with DD2, my feet were the worst. So I was happy about that....not.
I had Izzy this time last year and was exactly the same Sarah! I slept in a singlet and light pj pants and would wake up literally soaking wet wondering WTH was going on! A few times I thought I had leaked milk everywhere too but no it was just sweat! Noice! From memory it did ease off after about 8 -12 weeks.
I was doing that, turned out I had a kidney infection, so if you have anything else out of sorts you might want to get it checked out.
Sarah, I had that after having Alister and I wasn't BF. I would wake in an absolute lather of sweat sometimes and DH thought I was sick, but I read not long ago that it is normal after having a baby sometimes for some women. I can't for the life of me remember why it happens, but what they described was me to a T.
The same thing happened to me as well... From memory I think it settled down at about 6 weeks (Its been a while though, so that mightn't be completely accurate).
I asked the nurse about it, she said it was quite common... I was like Tan, thinking it was milk leaking... actually come to think of it, I had that as well.... hhhmmm very attractive![]()
Same thing happened to me and I was told that it is your body working overtime and "supposedly" getting rid of all those extra hormones etc
Yep I had this after both babies, definitely hormonal. It will settle down fairly quickly![]()
Wow it must be quite a common thing by the sounds. Thanks guys, good to know it's pretty much normal. Astrid I'll keep an eye out for other signs though.
I am experiencing the same thing and it is cold when I go to bed and I am not breastfeeding anymore. Glad Im not the only one.
