still numb after c-section!

hi.. i was wondering when you are suppose to get feeling back around you c/s scar?? my DD is 7 months now and it still is numb! i notice it more when i lean against things that there is no feeling around the scar!!

Totally normal! I still have some parts numb now 2 years later & my mum has numb parts when her last was nearly 22 years ago.

After about 2 years, it got better. Then after 5 years, a LOT better, but it's still numb especially in one area.

Some say the numbness never comes back. As for myself, I had my c/s over 2 years ago now and I only have a little area which is numb, (I actually just had to check is feel if I had any numbness in the area LOL)

I still have numb parts 14 years later. I guess it makes sense though seeing as they cut through all the nerves etc that some of them aren't going to heal again.

I still have numb bits and my youngest is 8, was the same first time around too. most of the feeling came back.

i just find that mine gets itchy sometimes, but i kinda like it numb, but then, im weird lol

I had my babe in Jan this year and mine are still sensitve. My trousers rub against it, it's kind of weird feeling. Also sometimes I feel like a sting (like there are still stapels in). But my gyne told me it's normal and like the girls said - for life.
