    are you breastfeeding?

    Im too scared to do anything other than walking for fear of decreasing my milk supply.

    Either way, i would wait atleast 6 weeks just in case

    Wow Veronica, good on you for having the energy already! I second what the others said. You still have the elastin running through your system from pg and your muscles are all loose and stretchy. You can do some basic exercises already - PFE, some gentle pilates stretches for your core stablility muscles and walking. But I wouldn't do anything more strenuous than that for at least 6 weeks. If your tummy muscles split during pg then you need to be even more careful what you do. If you really want to get into it already, perhaps you can talk to a physio that specialises in post-natal care and get a plan put together for you.

    Excuse my ignorance, but why? Does exercise decrease milk supply in the early stages?
