Question When can I stop wearing a mat bra?

Ok - stupid question, but when can I get myself some new bras????

I stopped BF DS about 4 wks ago, and am no longer expressing etc to 'dry up' the milk, but still have some although my BB dont get all 'hard' etc with it. I have read that even after finishing BFing you can still have milk for some months - so when can I go back to getting bras with underwires??? Do I have to wait till there is no milk at all, or can I go back to them now???

I need new bras and DH has offered to get me some for a birthday present (for him more than me - although I really need them)...

    Help me please...

The day after my DD stopped feeding I was back in my underwire bras and had no problems with blockages etc but it did take two to three weeks (from memory) for the size to settle down and my bb's to shrink back
    How gorgeous of your DH!!

I think 'they' say 4-6 weeks, so yeah I'd go and get fitted in the next fortnight and buy some nice new bras I'm very jealous BTW. I only just got back into underwire, first time in two years I'm still feeding though, so it feels a bit like russian roulette lol!

I was back in normal bras the day after I stopped b/f dd2 as well. I never had any issues.
