    Talking My pelvic floor theory!

I had the idea a while ago that my pelvic floor issues ie not being able to hold on when I needed to go, was being contributed to by me going to the loo JIC.
The thought came to me when we were leaving to go out and I went to the loo for JIC when I didn't really need to. That got me thinking in the car that maybe by doing that I am making it worse.

So I have been purposefully holding on for a bit longer and I'm happy to report that I think my ability to hold onto the tinkle is better after just a few short weeks I won't go to the loo JIC when I'm going out and I also don't go to the loo before I go to bed if I don't feel I have to. I really think it's helping

I must admit to it not being that bad that I leak when I sneeze but I have leaked when jumping on the tramp

I find this works for me too, Raven... My sister got told to by her doctor that she was doing more harm than good by giving in to the need to get up and go to the loo in the night and that she should try to stop... God help her she hasnt even had kids yet

My physio after DD#1's birth said that we facilitate bad pelvic floor by going JIC!
Its hard not to teach your kids to do that though...hmmm
