I felt weird about dtd with dh after ds was born, not the exactly the same reasons but i felt like mums dont do that sort of thing lol!
Oh phew - i have been feeling the same way, like sex is for street workers, not mums....
i hope it goes away soon, its been 14 months since DD was born!!!

bjrose - I hope you can get over the mind hurdle soon. But seems like it could be normal for dtd to feel weird once we have a little one.... I hope we can both get back in the sack soon (with our husbands, not with eachother! LOL)

    Hi Skye

Don't feel silly! Our bodies and minds go through such a huge rollercoaster when being pregnant and afterwards. Very difficult to explain to our husbands and anyone else that hasn't experienced it before, isn't it..

I don't think it has anything to do with how much or how little you (or anyone else) loves their partners. It's just the change in emotions, hormones and this new role that we take on as mothers that makes it difficult to return to 'normal' or live up to our partners expectations.

Hang in there, give yourself time and just be really open and honest and tell your fella how how you are feeling.

Thanks guys. I think its probably just coz he's a boy.
I know it sounds silly, but after having the 2 girls for 6 years, finally having a boy is still spinning me out.
I'm still coming to terms with that!
