    Wierd feelings about dtd?

I had no idea where to post this, so I hope its OK.

Alright. I had DS 5 months ago today.
Problem is since then I feel wierd DTD.
My problem is that DH's bits are like DS's & it just feels wrong. Kinda.
I don't want to go into detail. But I don't know if this is normal or not.

Has anyone else felt this way?

I haven't said anything about it to DH. I just told him I couldn't yet. He talked to a mate about me just not being ready about a month ago & his mate told him it sounded like I don't love him anymore.
I do love him, & have since been trying to put in some effort, but I just can't get over this feeling. I'm hoping it'll just go away.
Maybe I've got PND of some kind again (had it with both the girls) & this is my heads excuse not to do it.
I don't know. Sorry if this doesn't make any sence.
Please tell me you don't think I need to be locked up in a psyc ward!!

I still kinda feel wierded out when we do it! I spose its becasue so much has changed iykwim?

This probably doesnt help, but your not alone hun! And you definately dont need to be going to a pysch ward lol!

Oh phew - i have been feeling the same way, like sex is for street workers, not mums....
i hope it goes away soon, its been 14 months since DD was born!!!

bjrose - I hope you can get over the mind hurdle soon. But seems like it could be normal for dtd to feel weird once we have a little one.... I hope we can both get back in the sack soon (with our husbands, not with eachother! LOL)

    Hi Skye

Don't feel silly! Our bodies and minds go through such a huge rollercoaster when being pregnant and afterwards. Very difficult to explain to our husbands and anyone else that hasn't experienced it before, isn't it..

I don't think it has anything to do with how much or how little you (or anyone else) loves their partners. It's just the change in emotions, hormones and this new role that we take on as mothers that makes it difficult to return to 'normal' or live up to our partners expectations.

Hang in there, give yourself time and just be really open and honest and tell your fella how how you are feeling.

Thanks guys. I think its probably just coz he's a boy.
I know it sounds silly, but after having the 2 girls for 6 years, finally having a boy is still spinning me out.
I'm still coming to terms with that!
