I got exactly this after my twins. I started using a menstrual cup instead of tampons which did help a little, but it also allowed me to measure exactly how much my loss was each month which meant my GP took me seriously. I ended up getting a mirena coil which has helped massively by stopping my periods but after 3 years they are starting to come back so I am going to ask for a referral to a gyne for an ablation or (fingers crossed) a hysterectomy to put the pain to an end once and for all.

Quite possibly, maybe try a sup for a couple of months and see if it helps.

That sux. Could the throbbing possibly be from a varicose vein? I know i had enlarged veins when pregnant and got that throbbing type pain. Always worth getting checked in case they can do something to help. xx

I have exactly the same thing since having the girls, was good for the first period or two, then BAM worse than ever. I've just purchased a menstrual cup (much to DHs disgust lol), hoping it may help....can't hurt to see your gp though x
