I've been doing some reading about heavy AFs and clots after my last shocker lasting 2 full weeks. In my case it is indicative of an anovulatory cycle...because no egg is released, the oestrogen builds and builds with no progesterone to moderate it...AF hits and there's a mega-lining to slough off. Not suggesting this is the case for you, but if you think you're skipping ovulation (for whatever reason) then this can happen (very common in perimenopause when ovulation starts dropping out).

I'm not as worried about it now, however it was a really big clot. Still not sure if I should see the doctor, as I didn't keep it... Photos and description still might help. Last month I had to have the MMR(measles, mumps, rubella) vaccination for uni prac placement, and we did a pg then (coz she couldn't give it to me if I was pg, and was told that not to try until after 3 months of the vaccine). The test was negative. However, it could have been too early, or maybe afterwards - coz accidents do happen! We aren't trying - at all.

I saw the doctor yesterday, about something different...

I mentioned it to her and she said it was most likely a miscarriage. Part of the placenta, she reckons. I don't know how to feel about that
