Mirena is an IUD, is that what you mean by ring? I know a few people who have had them and they've been great. I know one person who had it and it fell out, twice. Her Obs told her she must just not suit an IUD and this friend is now on the implant.

What exactly hurts with the condoms? I am finding the Skyn type of condom really good, after my issues with normal ones... combined with a different lubricant, what was it called, can't remember...

Are you cycling? Can you count days and just avoid days 10-20 or whatever your "hot spots" might be? Can you track that way?
