    Just wondering....
I know I am only 3 days past op. but I am getting a lot of lower back pain (similar to the pain I was getting when the investigations started) Has anyone else had this? I also have been getting bloated & still lots of cramping wind pain -this part sounds similar to yours Clare.
I can't help reading into everything and thinking the worst. I know this is not healthy but don't know how to control it.
Also- I have been feeling nausea as well!!

I can't really say whether I had much back pain in the first 5 days, because I was in hospital and they keep the painkillers going 24/7. I know that I have had some discomfort in my back, but not what I would call pain.. Today I had my first check-up with my 'new' GP (as I'm not ever going back to the other GP), and she told me that any niggling discomfort is normal, and that the only time I need to worry is if I get a temperature as this indicates some form of infection. She had a bit of a feel around my tummy and said that the slight discomfort that I was experiencing was just some swelling that would take a couple more weeks to settle completely - hence the 5-6 weeks off work! Follow your instinct Sandygirl, you know your body better than anyone, if something feels wrong or if you aren't sure, phone your GP and ask the question....

    Hi girls,
Just wanted to check in on you.. the discomfort, pain and wind pain is quite normal, and wait til the wind actually starts - thast another story! But if you do feel that somethign isnt quite right, then see your GP or even give them a call. It takes at least 7 days until you start feeling better physically. Emotionally well, that takes a long time. Its not something you ever really get over, you just learn to live with it, but I promise the pain gets better, and you do start putting the pieces of your broken heart back together over time.

    Hugs,
    Lisa

    Thanks Clare & Lisa,
I will go to GP tomorrow to have stitches out & will talk to him then.
Clare, does your old GP know what's happened to you? He should be shamed & blamed.

    Hey Sandygirl,
I've been OK, a bit weepy every now and then - I guess I'm going through the motions, but I am much better than I was in the first 2 weeks, thanks. How have you been? I'm not back at work yet, I've got my gyno appt on Monday, I'll see what he says....
