I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful baby boy. I know how it must feel because I've too lost my little angel Joshua at almost 21 weeks in Oct this year, I suspect due to an angry fibroid in the wall of my uterus which just went really agro with the pregnancy hormones and probably the IVF drugs.

When I had my late miscarriage my OB said the fibroid was part of the reason why I went into pre term labour ( although I suspected it played a huge part in it ), so I know what is feels like to just want the bl**dy answers ! He didn't give me the other part of the reason.....

I've got a friend that had numerous urinary tract infections early in the pregnancy and she had a healthy baby boy, but after I lost my little boy I read like 20 books on miscarriage and stillbirth and one book said that UTI do not cause miscarriages as the bacteria is almost always limited to the bladder and never reaches the uterus. BUT, UTI can cause pre term labour in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

So like the others say, preventative measures are always best.
