My love I am so sorry to read your story - and sad for your goodbye babies...
I have had 3 1st trimester losses and 3 second trimester losses on the journey to hold my 5th Earth Baby Imogen in my arms. ( & Rach I hear your quote and I too know what that cool drink tastes like)
We have a sticky here on recurrent miscarriage and it's causes. The causes are many and sometimes we never know. I researched until I needed glasses and researched at night instead of sleeping - I decided on leaving no stone unturned. It wasn't going to beat me.
I decided I have an autoimmune condition and then the doctors also decided I was right!
I commenced on prednisolone (steroid) and clexane (blood thinning drug) and low dose asprin. This did the trick for me. My daughter Imogen was born at 28 weeks and it was terrifying. I still believe had I remained on prednsisone and not weaned off it that I would not have got sick and therefore had Immy early...
