    MIScarriage

My story is I found out I was pregnant on a Thursday and I miscarried that Saturday night early Sunday 1AM. It was hard because I was excited and then like bricks in the face it was gone. I really want to try again but I have been waiting for a cycle which was advised to me to wait. Since I had a miscarriage 7/29 and I still have not started AF. Is this abnormal? I have had all the symptoms of AF for over a week and still nothing. I'm getting frustrated. I know I'm not pregnant because we have used measures to avoid early pregnancy before 1st AF, and I tested just to be sure. I have heard after miscarriage your cycles are never the same. Is this true?

hi chloe, i am so sorry for your loss, big hugs.
it sounds pretty normal from what i have read on here, some people have waited 2-3 months for their af, i think you can see the doctor to give you something to bring it on.
I hope you find all the support you need here on bb.
again nothing i can say will make up for your loss, i am so sorry.
    hugs again starrysky

    Hi Chloe1014
I am so sorry for your loss. It is just tragic and so unfair.
Everyone is different and all three of m/c have been different but after my first D&C it took 5 weeks for AF to return and another couple of months for it to return to a normal cycle as such but it does go back to normal. Everyone is different, hormone levels play a big part and so does your mental state too. So take it easy and look after yourself, it will all fall into place.

    Hi Chloe
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. After my mc & d&c i was told that af wouldn't arrive for 6-8 weeks, so i think that it is pretty normal. I think that is a hasn't arrived after an extended amount of time you gp or ob can give you something to bring them on - im not sure what it is called though. You have definitely come to the right place as so many of us have lost angel babies and are willing to offer advice on our situation.

So so sorry for your loss chloe.

Your situation is almost the same as mine - I found out I was pg on the Wednesday (27th June) and m/ced on the Friday (29th June) It was so very heartbreaking and I know how you feel - if you even need anyone to talk to, send me a pm.

As for AF - I waited for almost 8 weeks - but my AF hasn't been the same since - My first AF after the m/c was a little different from what it was like beforehand but I'm sure it'll go back to normal afterwards
