I am sorry to hear your Dr didn't have the updated information
I am glad that you have a wonderful support network around you right now, Cyber and IRL, it is lovely that you have you family with you at this difficult time, there is nothing like a real warm hug.
I felt like asking her what she thought the red stuff was when it clearly looked like blood PMSL, hopefully next time i have to see the sister at the dr's i'll get to see someone else.
Bonham, I'm so sorry you lost your precious baby. Big hugs and love. Glad that you have family near you and such lovely support.
I agree, very strange for the sister-in-charge to not know what blood looks like! No wonder you were perplexed... Reminds me of that show that used to be on the ABC that was about a doctor who used to faint at the sight of blood, .
Kerry: thankyou for your condolences, love & hugs they are much appreciated I too am glad i have great support both on the forum & IRL.
The sister was looking at my foot rather intently like she was seriously trying to work out what the red stuff was. Oh well she learnt something new today LOL
Sorry for your lose but very happy to hear you have people around you to help you through this.
That moment you find out is horrid! You count down to your first scan, everyone is excited then the guy doing it seems to be paying more attention and going over things again and again much more than you remember. I knew something was wrong at that point and he said he needed to get someone else in to have a look. So the girl that came in broke the news to us but it didn’t make it any better.
I hope your D&C went well. They are awful but at least you know when it’s going to happen and can start ttc again soon.
Hi Bonham,
Glad to hear that things are settling down for you - it must have been a weight off having family around. I hope you get your bfp really, really soon!
Unlike you, we have decided not to continue ttc - my 2 eldest kids turning 14 & 15 this week sort of bought it home that I like not having to cart a whole tonne of stuff whenever we go out and being able to leave them for time out on our own. I'm actually going to have the Mirena put in just before Xmas - can't wait! I'm finding that I can read through all the posts in our old group, it doesn't upset me anymore, in fact, when I'm at the shops and there are small kids screaming, I'm thankful I wont have to go through it again!
Hi Loubee, thankyou it was great to have my sisters being there for me, i'd do the same for them in hearbeat.
I'm sorry to hear you wont be TTC again, all the best with the Mirena, i've been in our old group a few times but only to update them on whats going on with me atm it still hurts to read whats going on with them all. You need to do what's best for you & your family.
DF & I are going to have fun DTD for a few months and then we'll hop back on the TTC train unless a whoopsie happens between now and then. Thankyou for your best wishes for our TTC journey.
