    Haha BUSTED!
    D'oh!!

It sounds like you could benefit from wearing a splint at night (really common, I have one too ). Has anyone mentioned this to you in the past? They really help to prevent wear and tear, particularly in someone with a bite like yours.
Erm yeah...they suggested it about 5 years ago Seriously don't know why I didn't get one, I was just about to get married, then started having babies, etc etc. Time just gets away you know?

Will see what they say. If I were working I'd probably being looking at braces, but I just don't think we can afford it atm.

    Sorry for hijacking Heaven!

Willow, don't forget all the orthos have payment plans (interest free). I don't mean some dodgy Harvey Norman thing, just fairly affordable monthly installments, with a deposit upfront.

Hun check out your local centrlink and as about a emergency dental hospital. We have one in our area that is free if you say it hurts really badly and you have a health care card. Worth having a look as it could save you alot of money. I have had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out through them for free.

I hadn't been to the dentist in years and years too! So I went not long ago and it was so NOT scarey at all!! All I needed was a little filling, which barely took 20 mins for that! They also gave me a clean and fluoride treatment too.

I tell you, you will feel sooo relieved after going!!
