DD wants to change schools - I agree with her choice.

When do the admin staff get back so I can call to arrange transfer???

I am fairly certain it is the 14th for Victoria... But it may be the 21st... :-)

Its normally one or 2 weeks before the students go back, but it can vary by school.
If you call the school maybe they have a recorded message or something indicating when they are back?

Unfotunately no, that would make too much sense!

I hope that's enough time to organise things - books, uniform etc. I'm not even sure if she will be able to get in.

All I know is that it always had a great rep and a good music focus. They also have German (i'd like ther to continue this.

They do have a great rep so I have heard. The orgy thing a few years back freaked the hell out of me. But I have a few friends who've moved their girls their due to problems with unsavory types at their previous schools and have found it to be a fantastic learning environment.

She's at Heathmont atm, it's ok, but I find it's more focussed to the VCAL student.
Belle is academic and needs/likes to be pushed. I've heard good things about Vermont (had a good rep for YEARS), but I try to call them and they must still be on holidays.

I'm starting to get annoyed now......

You better check you are "in the Zone". Wantirna is sooo full a few kids in DDs class couldn't get in
One of them lives in Terama Ave. You may be Zoned Bayswater Sec..

Lulu in NSW the admin staff go back the same day as the teachers which is the day before the kids (29th jan) I would ring the dept education direct as they can tell you when someone will be there.
