I have that issue with MAs but blame it on microfibre - we are not friendsand I find that it holds smells for us.
I have tried a rinse with the Dettol stuff but found it really made no huge difference....just something to put up with I guess.
Is it just me, or does anyone else's Magic-Alls smell?
There are a few of my MCNs that are quite stinky, but I think these are the worst..I don't think it's the detergent build up thing..and I pretty well always dry them in the sun....
Could I add some drops of EO in the wash to help do you think?? Or is it just something that I should put up with??
Any hints would be so appreciated..

Thanks for the reply Hayley! yeh, guess I'll just put up with my stinky-winky Magic-Alls lol
I find it a bit, but mostly only if I'd had to resort to using the dryer. Hanging them out usually sorts it. But I only use a very small amount of detergent and do an extra rinse so maybe that helps.
Have you tried chucking some vinegar in during the rinse cycle?
Dach- no I haven't. Thanks for the idea![]()
Are you doing a pre rinse? Give that a go if you're not.
Vinegar is alright for occasional use but don't use it too often as the acidity can shorten the life of the elastic so I have heard.
Yeh Sam, I do a pre rinse. Thanks for the thought anyway.
They have been like this since the very first time I used them, and smell great after a wash, but once they are wee-d in they turn evil!
Have you tried a hot strip wash with a bit of dsihwashing detergent? Just a smidge, and rinse well.
Vinegar is ok occasionallybut don't make a habit of it.
