Another photoshop question

AAAgggghhhhh! I've been trying to remember how to do this for hours.

What I want to do: I have two photo files. One is a portrait, the other is a grunge shot. I want to use the grunge shot as a border for my portrait, and I can't work out how to do that. I want to be able to see the portrait "through" the border as well.

Last year I figured out how to do it using some mask technique, but do you think I can remember how to do it?

Hi Christine,

Open both pictures.
On the left hand side you have two columns of tools. There should be a Clone Stamp Tool. Not sure what version photoshop you have but on mine it is the 5th down on the left. Right click it to just make sure its the Clone stamp selected and not the pattern stamp. Then all you have to do it go to which every picture you want to clone across, say your border, and Alt + Left Mouse Click where you want to start the clone. Then go across to the other picture youd like to add the boarder to and start the clone by just using your left mouse button. If you do it in the incorrect section then just undo.
