What evryone else has posted on here for you is great advice!!
We also were given worst case senario from our ultrasounds and I had an amnio to rule out other awful things...at 22 weeks I was given the option to terminate which was heart wrenching! We decided against that thank god!!!
5 months ago we had a beautiful healthy little boy who like matilda's mummy is classed as special needs but only due to having a cleft lip. His palate is all in tact and nothing else that we were expecting is wrong!!!
So I can sympahthise with you and my happy thoughts are coming your way....try not to worry till you get more scans and advice and research research research what you can to get your head around things!!!
Ultrasounds aren't the be all and end all.....remember babies are born all the time with problems that aren't detected in utero....you will be more prepared IF it is a serious problem!!
