Hi Meercat - what a clever little girl you have there wanting to do BLS I have to admit I love the shock factor of the BLS but last week, being the first week of daycare I did try and tone down her morning tea just so she wasn't ridiculed - hahhaha.

Speaking of morning tea......any suggestions? We aren't giving DD gluten yet as I am intolerant so she is having gluten free foods like me. On the whole it's not a big issue as it's really only bread that's a pain and we buy GF bread (when it is available.) We do rice puffs, dried fruit, real fruit, yoghurt, cottage cheese, rice crackers with cheese and other various toppings and toast but the GF toast crumbles pretty easily so it's not that big of a winner.

I would REALLY like to make her quiche and I gave her egg yolks last weekend and she went fine but what's the go with egg whites? If I cook a quiche and the egg whites are fully cooked, does that mean they are still high allergen? Guess there is only one way to find out................

Tried DD on fish on the weekend too, she loved it but I steamed it and it went crumbly and at the moment she is better with non crumbly things that she can get into her mouth easily.
