How do you pronounce it? Is it 'Car-Iss' or 'Care-iss' or 'Car-is' or Care-is' or 'Ca-Riss'?

a lady I worked with who's Welsh, named her daughter Carys and they pronounce it Ca-reece, so that's the only way I know how it's pronounced
