I had to love it, the 'lightbulb' moment. I had two names for DS that we liked, and then one night DP came home and said 'what about Chevy?' and instantly it felt 'right'. Those other two names are still nice names, but for someone else's kids, not mine
I don't think i've really helped you.
i totally know how you feel, searching for boys names when pg with ds3 totally stressed me out and did my head in. with ds1 and ds2 we seemed to pick thier names early on and loved them and knew that would be their name.
with ds3 it was a total different story. i got so sick of name searching (and yes nymbler never gave me anything worth considering) we had a list of 6-7 names which for whatever reason 1 or the other liked more than the other.
The name we end up going with was a name i brought to the table early on in the peace and we did not love it but it grw on us. we only decided 2 days b4 he was born what his name would be and all of a sudden it clicked and we LOVED it and knew that was meant to be.
so i hope it comes to you to and just because a name doesnt jump out as your favourite right off the bat, sit on it for a while and it may just grow on you.
