I too keep our names to just us for similar reasons. If it's what you like then no one should tell you otherwise (except for maybe DH ) I haven't been too keen on a couple of names i've heard in the past but you grow to love them as you get to know they baby/child/person.

I have a friend whoes Grandparents called her a totally different name to what she was given at birth because they didn't like the name her parents had chosen for her. But they got over that eventually...

Austin is a great name and dont let anyone else influence you out of names because no matter what name you choose there will always be someone who doesnt like it

Austin is a great name =) like mentioned above, it unique without being really out there.

everyone is not always going to love every name.. it about what you and DP like. & i bet when people see you're cute bubba they won't be able to dislike the name!
