My pick is Leo
My pick is Leo
Another fan of Leo here!
Thanks everyone.
I know, I know! (I’m rolling my eyes at myself, btw
).
Gosh, Leo is a popular choice isn’t it.... but since I put it on the list, I’ve decided that it reeeeealy doesn’t go well with our surname, way too many “O” sounds.![]()
Polly A, MadB and sconeonamission – thanks for those suggestions, they are the kind of names that we like (and actually MadB, my other grandfather is Eric).
helle – we thought about Theodore/Theo, but now it has the same problem as Leo.
Ash – We can’t use Rohan, we just can’t, but if we did I’m sure I would say it Ro-harne!!! Because it’s just such a great word to say like that.
So this is what I’m left with now.
Basil
Alfred
George
Edward
You have a short-list, that's great. Did you want to have one name picked out or are you happy to stick with a short-list and see what name suits him best (if he is a he, as adamantly asserted by middle aged tradie bloke)?
I like Basil George as a combo too.
Oh, no, no, no, we’d never actually name a bub until we have seen it, so no need to pick THE name now. So yeah, I guess a short list is good.![]()
Hi Rach,
CONGRATULATIONS HUN ON BABY NOS 3
I love your names for your first 2 and think we have similar taste in names
My two boys are : Edward Louis & Rupert Nicholas
So for me I like Edward of course !!
But i do love Leo & George (Basil is cute but for me I knew a cranky old Basil that lived next door to my nan growing up so Basil doesnt appeal to me because of that only!!)
Anyway what about Louis??
Umm.. girls names
I love Eloise (very pretty)
Eliza?????????????????????
Best of luck and wishing you all the best with your new arrival
