For a water inspired name I really like Laurina or Wallaya. There is a beautiful plant called a Water Gum or Wallaya (Tristaniopsis laurina) that grows along rocky creeklines here in Sydney.

Tristaniopsis – Honouring Juels de Tristan a French botanist.
Laurina – Laurel like, referring to the leaves.
Wallaya – local Aboriginal name.
