I'm sure there will be other opinions, so I'll offer mine. I still give Darcy something else to eat if she won't eat what's initially offered.
She is a great trier of new things so I know she's not shying away from that. She's still figuring out what she likes and doesn't like. Sometimes she is tired and I get to eat what I want if I'm tired.
When she's a bit bigger I will only make the one meal, but for now I'm happy as long as she eats. Often she picks something better than I'm offering anyway. Like the other day I bought her a cheeseburger and she left it and wanted a sandwich.
