Hi all,
My bleeping SIL just does not get it. It's a simple request- do not feed ds frozen coke. Please. He does not need it, for very obvious reasons.

Yep, I appreciate you taking him off my hands for a few hours. But I have told you time and time again. Today you even let himhave 'one more sip', right in front of me, while saying 'Don't tell mummy'. It's not a difficult concept- sugar and caffeine are not good for little kids.

Ok, so, rant over now But the question is, what do I do? If I've asked very politely for her not to give ds soft drink of any kind, and she insists on doing it, what do I do? I think I'm going to have to stop the outings with SIL if she can't follow the rules, but that feels like cutting off my nose to spite my face- ds loves going out with her for a few hours, and I love the break I get.

But how else to handle this? How to make my SIL realise I'm actually very serious about this issue?
