DD1 is almost 7 and rarely wakes - if she does it usually means she is sick so I will definitely tend to her (especially after having to clean up vomit in a top bunk, I can get her out of there at the speed of sound these days).

DD2 is almost 4 and wakes maybe once a fortnight to go to the toilet/bad dream/wants a drink etc - I will tend to her just in case she is sick or to comfort from a dream - I think it's important as I want her to go back to sleep in her own bed and not come into my bed
