Oh my goodness, I am never asking a mother of babies/young children anything again!
I have been guilty of asking some of the questions, like 'is he a good baby?' Or 'does he sleep well?' Or 'is he your first?' And when the woman is pregnant, 'will you find out the gender or keep it a surprise?'
All the time I ask these questions its not in a judgmental way, its genuine curiosity and a desire to make polite conversation about the baby. Mind you, its never to a stranger, unless they have volunteered info, its always to friends, colleagues or family.
I am now getting the, 'will you find out the sex?' question (no) and it honestly doesn't bother me... maybe cause I ask it myself with genuine interest.
Also, I seriously want to know, but have never asked, what DO you do with poo when it comes to cloth nappies? I honestly have no idea how you'd go about it!
