I never said I was a wonderful parent, actually Im far from it. I answered the op question about how you handle kids down the street, and expressed my position on harnesses. As I have already said it doesnt make me a better parent than anyone else, its what works for us, and wasnt that the original question?
But why are you judging me for not using one? I'll say it again, Im not a wonderful parent, I have a lot to learn when it comes to parenting, actually I have a lot to learn fullstop. The only experience I have with harnesses is from my firends who use them. I don't judge them for using it, but I am allowed to have my own opinion of them and shouldnt be judged for holding opinion.
And yes kids are who they are, so are harder than others. just because one thing works with one, doesn't mean it will work with another. even I know that with my own children.
Harnesses wont work on their own, they wont teach children what they need to know, they only restrain them. and they can't be expected to work on their own either. They are not failsafe and should not be thought of that way either. Thats all I'll say about them.
