    I'm Bored Mum!

My seven-month-old has taken to waking up between 4-5am. I've tried putting her into bed with me but that's a bit hit and miss. Sometimes she will go back to sleep for a little while but most of the time she prefers to pull my hair and stick her fingers up my nose!

This morning she didn't start 'asking' for a feed until 8am so she's not hungry - I reckon she's just bored.

What would you suggest I put in her cot to keep her entertained. I should get her a mobile. By the way, her cot is in our room at the moment so nothing TOO noisy though that might be wishful thinking.

Is she going to bed too early or getting too much sleep during the day? Just wondering if that may be the cause of early wakening?

Althought Krystal is a bit older.. i have found she often wakes up at like 5am, and is 'awake' regardless of what time she went to bed, or naps or anything!

is she sleeping right through until she wakes at 5am? maybe she needs to stay up an extra hour at night!
sorry im not much help, good luck with it!!

Oskar went through that phase as well.. and lately has started again, so not sure as to why... BUT... I keep it all very quiet, take him out of his cot (in our room next to my side of the bed) and give him a BF, sometimes he'll go back to sleep and other times he'll have one side and then sit up for 5 mins (roughly) then want more boob, so I give him the other side and more often than not he drifts back off to sleep for up to 2 hours. So, my suggestion is to try a BF and to keep it all quiet, not talking etc and see how that goes. Good luck!
