I really feel ya hon, I'm going through exactly the same thing with my dd. We saw Gp this morning & got a script for Losec.
Went to chemist & she said it's best to go to a compounding chemist as pp have said. We went & did that- she's on 5mg once a day, though the chemist said I can split the dose if it doesn't seem to last, or may need a bigger dose, just wait and see. So it's FX big time here.
I hope the Zantac works for you, but if it doesn't at least you know you have the option of the Losec. Good luck
