We have the same problem and DD has just learned how to scratch the big lumps, so they're getting all scabby. Poor thing. Anyway, we use teatree oil, which seems to keep the mosquitos away... but not all night. It's great for bbqs, though.

    Hi,

My ds has mozzie allergies we use Ego MOOV insect repellant spray. You can get it from the chemist, its suitable for children, its made with natural plant oils and it is DEET free provides 3 hour protection too. on mozzie bites we use Ego SOOV cream.

hope that helps, I know how horrible it can be as I'm allergic to sandflies and scratch my legs off if i get bitten

Fleur- have you found anything that's helped yet? DD is getting bitten really badly during the night..her legs, arms, face, even her back! Poor thing is scratching herself mad even though I've been putting on a cream I got from the chemist, Paramax or something, but doesn't seem to do anything.
She must be nice and juicy cause I've only had a couple of bites, don't think DF has had any.

I found one at the Chemist, it's called Cherub Rubs Skin Guard.
All natural & organic, suitable for pregnant women, newborns, babies kids & adults.
Ingredients are: deionised water; witch hazel extract; vegetable glycerine; xanthan gum; aloe vera powder; sulphated castor oil; lavendar oil; lemon eucalyptus oil; rose water; almond & vanilla extract.

It seems to work well although we haven't had to use it heaps.
