Hollye - I am going to look into a vaporisor tomorrow so fingers crossed!!
Ubba - I am a tad worried as I had asthma very very badly when I was young and I would have to go on a motorised inhalar for most of winter (you know the old style you had to plg into the wall and have a mask on??) so I am hoping that she does not suffer form it like I did. The good news is I have grown out of Asthma now!
I have one of those motorised inhalers for DS! The hospital said a ventolin inhaler with a spacer is more effective but I found he got more relief from the nebuliser, especially at night.
If you had asthma when you were younger then it is likely that your DD could develop it too, the Dr's wont diagnose it as asthma until she is about 2, the advantage you have is you can recognise if she is having trouble breathing. I really hope she is feeling better today - and you too. xx
Hi Kate, I hope little Bella is doing much better today. I know how bad bronchoilitis can get, so just keep a close eye on her. I almost lost my little V a month ago from it, which also had some pneumonia thrown into it. With bronch, it takes around 4-5days where it hits a peak, before they start showing signs of getting better. They tend to get worse before it gets better. hugs
