Help!!!!!! DS has never had nappy rash, until I don't know maybe now????? Since about 3 weeks ago he's been having a red ring on and off around his bum hole. Not too big or that bad to begin with, and I have always managed to get rid of it with various creams (I normally slather his naughtly bits and bum with cream anyway). For the last couple of days, the redness got a lot worse. He's been trying to do a poo (he's 2 and still in nappies) for 2 days now and he manages a little marble sized ball of poo in size 2 to 3 times a day. I am now guessing he's holding onto his poo b/c his bum hurts. Today it was so red raw, I almost cried. When I tried to put the anticeptic cream on the reddest area, the cream just wasn't sticking,like the skin was really burnt We had a doc appointment today but we had to move it till tomorrow because it was a really late one and he would have missed his dinner/bath. Any suggestions? I'm so scared of going near his bum! He practically sreamed the house down today, it broke my heart. Maybe it's his 2 year molars????? His poos have been normal.....not sloppy or runny like they say happens with teething?
