Unhappy My Poor Sick Baby Girl..

Bella is sick. She has a shocking cough and runny nose and runny eyes. My poor baby girl.
I took her to the Dr today and she has a cold and a touch of bronciolits (sp?) so she has the terrible chunky cough.
To top it all off she is getting BOTH her top teeth now as well! One is juts breaking through and the other is about to - so she has the runny poo and the drool and the rash.
I feel so bloody helpless. All I can do is hold her and try to comfort her (as side from the nurofen & Panadol and teething rings)

She has been off her food most of the day - juts having a few sips of her bottles and some yogurt and water.

There is really nothing else I can do is there??

    Thanks for listening

Nothing at all, Kate. We went through bronchiolitis when Sam was 5 months old, it truly is scary and took about three weeks for him to recover completely and start finishing his bottles again. I hope little Bella recovers quickly.

yes you can hire them but tbh, i would recommend buying one as i'm sure you will use it heaps over the next few years. we have got lots of use out of ours. they cost about $50 from the chemist

You'll need to watch her to make sure she doesn't get too dehydrated, as well.

    Good luck.

    poor little thing!
We had the vapouriser in ds's room when he was sick with eucalyptus oil in it (all from chemist) and that made a huge differance. you can also get sailine drops/spray for babies to help clear there nose if its hard to breathe. I found the chemist to be really helpful so maybe speak to them and see what they think.
All the best, i hope she feels better soon.

    Kate,

I would just use the water to start with cause the eucalyptus can cause further issues. If you want to try the eucalyptus, I would try when she is a little better to make sure she is ok with it (and others would say not to use it all)
