The word "should" and the expectations of others and the, qyite frankly, rude insinuations that there's something wrong with you/your baby are the problems.
I have walked and, tbh, still walk this path mit mein Liebling. There is no lack of excellent parenting, nor a lack of happy, contented child. It is hard. So very hard. Of course you want answers - regard the years of my posts about Liebling's sleep! But some babies and some children find long sleeps harder than others.
It is a blessing. No, really. Hear me out. A baby who sleeps for 2 hours, tops, ensures you get extra cuddles. Walking the floor singing for a half-hour at 2am builds muscles, burns calories, improves your memory for ABBA/Aretha Franklin/Bowie/Robbi Robb... insert baby's fave music here. And 3 years on, you hear Super Trouper, Dancing in the streets of light or Underground and bam... You recall the love you fought for as you cradled your baby and didn't scream and it is beautiful. Fwiw, I still can't get through Super Trouper without bawling!
It is so, so hard. But you will overcome and be stronger. Don't drive tired, forget housework, work on songs to calm you for the night waking. I wouldn't go back to those terrible days, but tbh now we're mostly down to 1 wake every other night I wouldn't trade them for the world. They have forged me in a fire and I am a better mother for it.
Just as you will learn your own life lessons and really enjoy the person you become. And giving grandchildren back at bedtime! That and boarding school, can't wait.
