Most definitely!!! Apparently the average child will only play with AT MOST about 10 toys at once, so any more than that out at the same time probably means they won't get played with. We try to keep DS toys to a very minimum - I keep a selection at DH's office and the rest at home, so there are only about 10 at home and he doesn't even play with all of those. He prefers the pots and pans, plastic containers, safe cutlery, dust pan and broom, duster, etc. I am thinking of packing away a good portion of his toys - as I won't get rid of any until we are finished having kids unless it gets totally out of control.
